Day 1: Delhi Exploration
Start your day in Delhi, the capital city of India, filled with history and vibrant culture. Begin with a visit to the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an architectural masterpiece. Explore its beautiful gardens, intricate designs, and historical significance. Afterward, head to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, known for its grand scale and stunning architecture.
Next, visit India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers who died during World War I. Take a stroll around Rajpath, where you can also admire the nearby Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace). If you're a fan of history, visit Humayun’s Tomb, the tomb of the Mughal emperor, which is considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal.

Day 2: Agra - Taj Mahal and More
On the second day, depart from Delhi early in the morning for Agra, which is approximately 3-4 hours by car. Once in Agra, the first stop is the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and an enduring symbol of love. Spend time admiring the intricate marble inlays, the beautiful gardens, and the stunning symmetry of the monument.
Next, head to Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone fort that once served as the seat of the Mughal emperors. Explore the courtyards, gardens, and grand halls, including the Jahangir Mahal and Shah Jahan's private quarters, with magnificent views of the Taj Mahal from its walls.
If you have extra time, visit Fatehpur Sikri, about 30 minutes away from Agra, to see a well-preserved Mughal city complex, including Buland Darwaza (the largest gateway in the world) and the Tomb of Salim Chishti.
